KTM 1050 Adventure (2015-Present) Specs, Performance & Photos

The KTM Adventure was a travel enduro motorcycle manufactured by KTM from 2015, presented to the press at the 2014 EICMA Show in Milan, and assembled in Mattighofen until 2016. It was an entry-level enduro machine positioned under the 1290 Super Adventure, the revised 1190 Adventure, and the 1190 Adventure R.

Although it was an entry-level motorcycle, it was fitted with KTM's top-end spec Ride Mode Technology electronics, including an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and traction control that allowed more or less slippage to the rear wheel depending on the ride mode selected.

Visually, the bike has features such as a half fairing with a medium-sized windscreen for better wind protection, a one-piece dual seat with passenger grab rails, an up-swept single exhaust system, and 12-spoke lightweight wheels.

It was built around a powder-coated Chromium-Molybdenum steel trellis frame with a 43 mm WP inverted fork on the front and a WP single shock absorber on the rear, providing excellent handling capabilities.

As for the braking power, the bike's wheels were equipped with two floating brake discs coupled to four-piston Brembo calipers on the front and a single brake disc with a dual-piston Brembo caliper on the rear, offering excellent stopping power.

In the performance department, the 2015 KTM 1050 Adventure had its soul brought to life by a 1,050cc four-stroke two-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivered 94 hp at 6,200 rpm and 107 Nm (79 lb-ft) torque at 5,750 rpm.
