HONDA ST1300A Pan European ABS (2012-2013) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Honda ST1300 Pan European was a solid and reliable sports touring machine that debuted in 2002 in Europe, followed by the 2003 model in the United States under the ST1300 designation.

In 2013, the Japanese maker released the Honda ST1300A Pan European ABS, a safer version than the standard model that packed an additional ABS modulator, enhancing control and safety over different road conditions.

The Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) prevented the wheels from locking under hard braking or slippery surfaces. Besides the ABS, the bike had the same appearance and specifications as the standard model.

With an aerodynamic bodywork, a motor-controlled adjustable windscreen, a comfortable dual seat, a trunk with integrated passenger armrests, and large 35-liter side panniers, the ST1300A Pan European ABS was a robust and reliable touring motorcycle with advanced features and technologies.

The bike followed the same recipe Honda introduced with the first model, without any upgrades and modifications, except for color changes almost yearly. It also packed a digital instrument cluster, heated grips, and an integrated audio system.

In terms of power, the 2012 Honda SA1300A Pan European ABS had at its core a 1,261cc four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with an electronically controlled fuel injection system, delivering a power output of 118 hp at 8,000 rpm and 117 Nm (86 lb-ft) of torque at 6,500 rpm.
