HONDA ST1300 Pan European (2012-2013) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Honda ST1300 Pan European was a sport-touring motorcycle introduced in 2002 for the European market to replace the ST1100 model, which was manufactured from 1990 to 2002.

In 2003, the Japanese motorcycle maker released the Honda ST1300 in the American market, continuing production until 2012, when it was replaced by the CTX1300, a cruiser motorcycle powered by a modified version of the ST1300 engine.

In 2013, Honda released the ST1300 Pan European, a robust and reliable touring motorcycle adorned with advanced features and technologies, offering smooth and precise power delivery with excellent acceleration.

The bike was built on a lightweight aluminum frame dressed in an aerodynamic bodywork with an adjustable windscreen for better wind protection, a comfortable dual seat, a trunk with integrated passenger armrests, and large panniers for extra storage.

Over its production years, the bike followed the same path as the first model, without upgrades and modifications, except for color changes almost every year.

The bike's suspension was handled by a 45 mm air-adjustable telescopic fork on the front end. In contrast, the rear suspension was driven by a preload and rebound adjustable shock absorber.

The lightweight aluminum wheels were fitted with two 310 mm floating discs coupled to a three-piston caliper on the front, while the rear was fitted with a single 316 mm disc and a three-piston caliper.

The power figures remained unchanged, with an output power of 118 hp at 8,000 rpm and 117 Nm (86 lb-ft) of torque at 6,500 rpm.
