The Honda ST1300 was a touring motorcycle part of the ST series in Honda's range that had its debut in 2002 in Europe as the Pan Europen. It was released in 2003 under the ST1300 designation in the American market.

The ST1300 machine was a natural evolution of the ST1100 model that debuted in 1990 and was kept in production until 2002. Over 12 years of production, the ST1100 followed the same recipe without significant changes.

In 2008, Honda released the ST1300 in the American market as a touring machine loaded with long-distance accessories. Also, the ST1300 model was a popular choice among police departments and law enforcement agencies worldwide.

The 2008 Honda ST1300 was wrapped in an aerodynamic bodywork with an adjustable windscreen, a comfortable two-up seat with passenger grab handles, a trunk, and 35-liter side panniers for extra storage.

Other notable features included a digital instrument cluster, heated grips for comfort in cold weather, and an optional Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) that increased control and safety over strong braking and slippery surfaces.

The ST1300 was powered by a 1,261cc longitudinal-mounted four-cylinder engine fueled by a Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) system, providing smooth power delivery, precise throttle control, and excellent fuel efficiency.

Also, the engine was paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a low-maintenance shaft drive. With 118 hp at 8,000 rpm and 117 Nm (86 lb-ft) of torque at 6,500 rpm, the heavy machine hit a top speed of 225 kph (140 mph).
