HONDA PCX125 (2010-2011) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Honda PCX was a scooter manufactured by the Japanese maker Honda, first introduced in September 2009 at A.P Honda CO. in Bangkok, Thailand. Later, in November 2009, the Honda PCX went on sale.

In its first generation, the Honda PCX 125 was launched in 2010 in the United Kingdom and the United States, while the PCX 150 larger version was released in the rest of Europe and Japan.

The Honda PCX125 was a popular scooter designed for city commuting and short trips, powered by a 125cc liquid-cooled engine fitted with a fuel injection system that provided excellent performance, fuel efficiency, and smooth acceleration.

Some other features of the Honda PCX include a fully automatic transmission, making it easy to ride even for beginner riders. Also, the scooter featured ample storage space under the seat, large enough for a full-sized helmet and other small items.

The PCX scooter was also equipped with standard features like a dual seat with solid comfort, an electric starter that made starting the engine easy, a center stand, and a small windscreen.

The scooter's suspension was handled by a 31 mm telescopic fork with almost 900 mm of wheel travel on the front, a unit swingarm with dual shock absorbers, and 700 mm of wheel travel on the rear.

The braking power was achieved by a single 220 mm disc with a three-piston caliper on the front and a drum braking unit on the rear, offering strong braking performance.

As for power, the 2011 Honda PCX 125 delivered an output power of 12 hp with a peak at 8,500 rpm from a 125cc SOHC liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine.
