Mercedes-AMG revised the C43 in 2015 along with the rest of the C-Class range, and it included a few features to make it more appealing. The station-wagon version was a good choice, as well.

It was hard to decide for a dad to choose between its wish for a sports car and a minivan. The middle road was a station-wagon with a strong engine under the hood. On top of that, the car kept a sleeper look more than a pocket-rocket.

Since AMG started to offer body kits for the regular vehicles, the same aggressive look could have been obtained on a C200 CDI. The specific bumper with big side-pods and a center “mouth,” the 3D dots design for the grille, and the big badge in the middle were different than a standard C-Class. The headlights featured one curved line for the daytime running lights. There was a subtle change for the side sills, but the 18” (19” as an option) light-alloy wheels were AMG specific. In the back, the car featured a splitter under the bumper and four exhausts. On top of the tailgate, the designers installed a small roof-spoiler.

Inside there was a new look, especially if the 12.3” digital cockpit was installed. For the infotainment unit, Mercedes-AMG installed a standard 10.3” display controlled via a touchpad and menu shortcut buttons between the front seats. The Android Auto and the Apple CarPlay was available at extra cost. The rear bench featured a split-folding seatback to extend the trunk area.

A few modifications were made to the drivetrain. The 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine was tweaked to offer more power than the previous C450 AMG. It was paired as standard to a 9-speed gearbox instead of the older seven-speed, and the power went to all four corners.
