Alfa Romeo has released the complete video of 4C’s Nurburgring run, following the preview that was published shortly after the Italian automaker confirmed the sportscar’s Nordschleife lap time last week.
As we’ve previously reported, the brand new Alfa Romeo 4C completed the fastest lap on the famed German track in only 8 minutes and 4 seconds, setting a new record for cars with engines that have less than 250 horsepower at their disposal, matching lap times achieved by sportscars such as the Porsche Cayman S or the Audi R8. The vehicle was fitted with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo tires during the run and was driven by Nordschleife expert Horst von Saurma.
As a reminder, the Alfa Romeo 4C is motivated by a turbocharged 1.75-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 240 HP to the rear wheels. The mill enables the lightweight sportscar (2,000 pounds) accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in only 4.5 seconds.
