We’ve seen two Hulk movies so far, a couple of Iron Man ones and most recently Thor and Captain America. But all of these heroes will come together to fight the forces of evil in the upcoming Avengers flick that’s to be released next year.
In both Iron Man movies, Tony Stark (played by the talented Robert Downey Jr.) shows off his billionaire playboying skills from behind the wheel of the latest Audi R8 models, but the rest of the Marvel superheroes have been surrounded by a slew of Acura models.
That’s because SHIELD, the high-tech organization that brought them all together, doesn’t use fling gunships to get around, but more realistically drive the latest vehicles from Honda’s premium division.
A never before seen Acura sportscar concept with manga-comic looks has been spotted on the set of The Avengers. During filming that takes place in New York’s Central Park, Robert Downey Jr. is seen driving around in this awesome two-door.
The lines of this replacement playboy-mobile closely follow those of the 2007 Acura Advanced Sports Car Concept, though we suspect this is just a one-off for the movie filming and not something that’s heading into production.
