Scenes like those you’re about to watch as you hit the play button for the video below are often met at bike rallies. They’ve probably been around eversince the first motorcycle rallies have been organized, and such behavior will only cease when there are no more gas-powered motorcycles to play with or when the planet’s oil resources are over or gas becomes insanely expensive.
Until the whole planet will be full with electric motorcycles and reduce this type of fun to burnouts or whatever similar things will the future bring, we’re definitely in for more such footage, year after year. Some say that the guys doing this are only some deluded fools which wreck their engines for fun... and may be right. Or wrong, for what’s worth.
I do believe that each guy ends up with the bike he or she deserves. Even though some who dream to buy a motorcycle might weep at the sight of one being destroyed in such a manner, that’s just the way life goes on. Oh well, maybe that’s how life ends for these bikes.
Still, it’s nice to see this stunt come to an end without people getting hurt. It’s more than once when we saw engines blowing and bikes catching on fire, providing the curious by standers with some burns to help them remember the occasion for many a year.
As for the fellows who rev their engines until the whole length of the exhaust pipes and the entire silencer become white-hot… have fun, dudes! If this is the best way to show off and make use of the bike, who am I to tell you differently? ‘z okay, rev on!
