The Suzuki Alto has received its official pricing information for the UK, where it is now the least expensive car one could buy on the Isles. The range kicks off at just £5,995 for a SZ trim car, and for the money, decent levels of equipment, as well as very low running costs and emissions are an integral part of the package.
The Alto is powered by a twin-cam 1.0-liter motor, with 68 hp and 90 Nm (66 lb-ft), which has two main benefits: CO2 emissions under the 100 g/km mark, as well as a combined fuel efficiency rating of 65.7 mpg (4.3 l/100km). It is therefor Congestion Charge-exempt and therefor perfect for the pottering about in the center of London, or any other large city plagued by congestion and lack of parking spots.

If you are interested in buying an Alto for the aforementioned low price, the offer lasts from July 2nd to September 30th. You will be one of 8,000 people predicted to buy the car by the end of the year, and if small size, efficiency and low price are your main priorities, the Suzuki Alto is perfect for you - at least until the Dacia brand officially arrives in the UK, that is.
