Citroen has always been about the “Creative Technology”, but lately they’ve fallen from grace and are reportedly working away from their roots toward more commercially viable vehicles.
But there’s still a bit of French creativity left in them, and this shows in the way Citroen designers and engineers left their mark on an upcoming large MPV, most likely the replacement for the 7-seater C4 Gran Picasso. This is what Citroen does best - large, stylish boxes with revolutionary interiors.
This is the very first time we’ve been able to show you spyshots of the new C4 Gran Picasso. The engine range will most likely be the same as in the current C4 Berline, as Citroen has no secret engines they are working on.
This means a diesel lineup made up of the base 1.6-liter turbos, the HDi 90 and HDi 110 and the 2-liter HDi 150. Petrol options will include the base VTi 120 and VTi 95, plus the THP 155 developed with BMW. We’ll likely also see the Hybrid4 system from the DS5 and Peugeot 3008 as well.
