Project Kahn and Lorinser Make an S Class
text size: A- A+
The two culprits are Project Kahn and Lorinser and the end result is stunning, because you might just frighten yourself if, by chance, you happen to see the beast roaming the streets.
What Kahn did was to take a set of wheels, RSL 9 X 21 matte black at the front and 10.5 X 21 at the rear, and then redesigned the interior with bespoke leather and other secret cabin goodies.
What Lorinser did was to provide the S Class with the (not) so subtle body panels that feature some really neat gaps to let the air travel to the engine and little shark vents on the side skirts.
“We are positive about our cooperation, not least because of the combination of our good image, know-how as well as the long term experience in business of Kahn Design,” said Marcus Lorinser. "The unique philosophy and life style expressed in the Kahn RSL wheel is truly sensational. This project is without a doubt the perfect blend of British and German styling and it will certainly ensure a great deal of customer satisfaction."
"This innovative partnership will ensure Individuals with exquisite taste will find exactly what they are looking for,” said Afzal Kahn."However, in the coming weeks and months ahead we will be releasing numerous products that live up to my high standards and unique philosophy."
The end result? A car that looks mean, but also civilized, a sterile Mercedes Benz with a new personality.
