Rexton Goes from Beast to Beauty

There’s not much that can be said about tuners Kahn that can do them justice. It’s better to let their projects speak for themselves. These guys have proven themselves over and over again, and it doesn’t look like they plan to quit anytime soon.

And don’t go thinking for one second that all that success made them modest, because it hasn’t. But someone once said that modesty is for mediocre people and Kahn Design is anything but mediocre. And that’s exactly how Aftal Kahn, the head of Kahn Design feels: “As I have said hundreds of times before; we can do absolutely anything to any car and many people may have been under the impression that we would not have been able to do anything with the Rexton”.

That’s right, the Rexton is the latest car to under Kahn Design’s “knife” and undergo a series of changes. The R-Line has already undergone several changes to make it proud of bearing the Kahn logo. First of all they’ve upgraded the leather upholstery to give it that posh look.

The car now has ESP, ARP, HDC (hill descent control), ABS, parking sensors, cruise control, auto lights and wipers, side air bags, electric folding mirrors and heated seats. The transmission is a Mercedes T-Tronic automatic which is permanently connected to all 4 wheels.

Independent suspension on all four wheels should make for a comfortable ride. That’s coupled with special Kahn 22-inch rims. This model may be an SUV, but it feels at home also on busy city streets. The seven people capacity means that you’ll always travel comfortably and in style.

In fact Kahn fitted this car with so many gadgets and doohickeys that the only options you’ll get on the model is a rear spoiler and a Kenwood navigation system. Base price is 29,995 pounds, but it’s guaranteed to buy you a Rexton that stands out from the others.
