Would you trust a company who made tanks drink the Second World War to produce a luxurious, highly efficient hybrid sports saloon? You would if it was Porsche.
Proving that you don't need a Lexus to have a powerful and efficient hybrid, Porsche made their own out of the Panamera when they launched the facelift. There's a distinct German feel about it which we love. For instance, there are no little leaves that pop up to encourage you to drive safely, no silly graphics, no gimmicks.

The Panamera S e-hybrid has a real rev counter, it has a real petrol gage and it even packs a sensor which see the road and traffic signs, giving you information about local speed limits. With a 0 to 100 km/h time of 5.5 seconds, it's also amazingly fast. By comparison, the Lexus GS 450h takes about 6.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
