Mugen are quick to make tuning kits and we can see that because they released an all new one for the fresh out of the box new Honda Accord.

They presented a grey car with a meaty body upgrade that makes the car more massive in a sporty manner. This new creation is also available for the Tourer (station-wagon) variants of the vehicle and the looks make this car worth having.

On the outside there is a full body kit that contains front and rear under spoilers, 'aero' bumpers, side sills, a TSX-like bunny-tooth grill and a huge rear wing, to give it a boy-tuner look. Customers can choose from 4 different alloy wheel designs available in either 18 or 19 inch radius.

There are more upgrades inside the new Accord such as a sport suspension, high-performance brake pads and rotors, and a sport exhaust system. In Japan, the new car is offered with a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine that is built especially for the Japanese market with a 5 speed automatic transmission and front wheel drive.

Mugen are to Honda what AMG are to Mercdes, the official tuner and the company is run by the son of Soichiro Honda (Honda's founder). This company is also responible for the development of the Civic Type R, Integra Type R and basicaly all high performance Hondas.
