After withdrawing roughly €8 ($10) millions’ worth of ads from Facebook, back in May, citing the fact that they don’t reach enough people as their main reason for giving up, rumors spread around the web that they may be looking into Google click-through ads, but, apparently, they may be coming back to Facebook, after having renounced it less than two months ago.
According to autonews.com, the American giant is in talks with the social networking site to resume advertising. Apparently, the talks are between GM CEO Dan Akerson and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg are pointing GM towards Facebook, yet again. Another change in how the company is advertised has already taken place, as GM have decided not to advertise during the NFL break, next year - an odd move, yet again.

Considering the fact that other automakers find Facebook a good way to advertise, maybe GM is missing out on something, and maybe their lack of fans is due to the fact that they didn’t ‘reward’ them, like some other manufacturers have done.
