Ferarri 599 GTB Gets 660HP from Novitec Rosso
Starting at 10,490 euros, the conversion was made by a new engine management system composed of new mapping for ignition and injection as well as an increase in maximum engine speed to 8,550 rpm. The direct consequence of these engine modifications was that the car’s top speed also increased by 5 km/h to 335 km/h.
The Novitec Rosso sport exhaust system features four tailpipes with diameters of 90 millimeters and is available in two different versions. In addition, the tuners also worked on a system with controllable exhaust flap. The driver is even allowed to change the exhaust note by operating the ‘Manettino’ switch on the steering wheel.
The 599 GTB was not left without styling and aerodynamic changes, therefore it received a new front spoiler lip for the production bumper that reduces lift on the front axle, and a new rear wing and diffuser. Furthermore, new rocker panels come with large air dams, while all the aerodynamic components are also available in clear-coated carbon fiber.
Other exterior accessories include black taillights, side markers and auxiliary brake light as well as the new LED rear fog lights. The double-spoke wheels are fitted with Pirelli high-performance tires and are available in various different color combinations. The front axle features size 9Jx20 wheels with size 275/30 ZR 20 tires, while the rear axle was fitted with 12.5Jx21 wheels with tires in size 355/25 ZR 21.
And that's not all. By pushing a button in the cockpit, the front of the car can be raised by 40 millimeters to safely navigate parking-garage ramps or speed bumps. Upon reaching a speed of 80 km/h the front of the car automatically reverts to its original position.
