Novitec, the well-known Ferrari tuning house, has just unveiled an all-new supercar to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The so-called TuLesto is capable of providing an insanely-high power and top speed, being powered by a 4.4-liter V8 engine with twin superchargers. Although the company has always been interested in Ferrari's models, it's still unclear whether the TuLesto incorporates parts manufactured by the Scuderia or is an entirely new model.
Nevertheless, the exterior design is made in collaboration with Luca Serafini Stile, a design studio in Modena, Italy while the whole vehicle is assembled at the main production facility in Stetten, Germany.
And getting back to engine performance, the car is powered, as we said, by a 4.4-liter V8 engine that generates no less than 777 horsepower at 8,200 rpm and 727 Nm of torque at 6,300 rpm. Mated to a six-speed semi-automatic gearbox with integrated anti-slip differential, the engine pushes the car to a maximum speed of 350 km/h (217.5 mph). The 0-100 acceleration is done in 3.4 seconds, with 300 km/h reached in 22.6 seconds.
"With the NOVITEC TuLesto we transform our collective know-how from two decades of automobile tuning into an uncompromising high-performance sports car for eleven of our long-time customers from around the world," says NOVITEC managing director Wolfgang Hagedorn. "The TuLesto offers an optimal symbiosis of exceptional driving dynamics and exciting yet aerodynamically efficient styling."
Inside, the car features a climate-control system and a high-end audio system, as well as lots of carbon fiber-made parts - such as the dashboard, the center console and the door trim - that reduce the overall weight of the car and improve the engine performance figures.
