Rumors of Beyonce ending her super-popular relationship with rapper Jay-Z have been spreading around, but the “Drunk in Love” star keeps acting like nothing happened. The 32-year old singer recently posted images on her website showing them spending some precious time off with their daughter Blue Ivy at an indoor kart racing track in California.
Even though all these rumors of Jay-Z cheating on his wife and of the two only staying together for their daughter’s sake are pretty big in the music industry, we’re obviously not here to talk about showbiz. The reason you’re reading this article is a little dilemma we’re having. You see, it would seem famous artists really like to prompt their children into following the same path they do when it comes to their passion for vehicles.
Blue Ivy is obviously too young to already have Jay teaching her how to drive so of course the duo took her for something more appropriate. Beyonce shared some fun photos of her and hubby having a family day with daughter Ivy at K1 Speed in Torrence, California. The two, who are currently on a mini break before stating the European leg of their On the Run Tour, enjoyed some indoor kart racing with their baby girl to celebrate a family friend’s birthday.
However, the list of people that do it is long. Usher took his two sons kart racing on Father’s Day and Puff Daddy bought a Barbie Cadillac Escalade for his twin daughters, after buying his older son a brand new Maybach.
You see, it’s like there’s a trend or something. As they get older and closer to actually being allowed to drive, a lot of the famous kids get all sorts of luxury cars for their 16th anniversary. We’re not saying we don’t get the drill, but sometimes it looks like parents buy all the expensive cars for their kids only to keep their own fame alive.
Take Beyonce. She posted a couple of images of their little Kart racing experience, but couldn’t waste the occasion to pose in front of the camera as a race model. And if you spend time with your family which you care for a lot, do you really want millions of people to know all about it?
