Kia has come such a long way from its very humble beginnings, especially in the US. And what better way to celebrate the arrival of an amazing flagship than with a new set of custom wheels from the guys at Vossen.
This is not only the first K900 project we've seen, it's probably the last we'll feature for a while. So if you one of the people who payed your Kia dealership top dollar and want to customize your ride, pay attention!
The Kia full-size sedan has been kitted out with 22-inch rims in the VFS-1 design. This is not only the newest one they've developed, but also the lightest. Its design is inspired by the 5 mesh forged wheel, which debuted at SEMA two years ago and is available in either light or dark silver with a brushed look.
The VFS-1 is usually seen on sportscar royalty, like the Porsche 911 or the BMW M4, so the Kia model is definitely getting special treatment. And why shouldn't it? The most passionate Kia fans will remember the first model they launched in the US came in the form of a sedan called the "Sephia". This was acronym for Style Elegant Powerful High-tech Ideal Auto… which sounds extremely cheesy.
The K900 is definitely the first model ever that actually fits that description. It comes with a big 5-liter V8 from the Genesis sedan, bold styling, full-LED headlights, a huge cabin and all the latest toys, including active safety systems. It's also worth mentioning that a nicely equipped K900 V8 VIP will set you back around $66,000 right now, basically more than a Mercedes E-Class.
