Now that Ford has united its European and American performance divisions, its go-fast models can please a larger number of enthusiasts and the latest example of this comes from this year's edition of the SEMA show, where US car aficionados can enjoy some hot hatch flavor, in the form of the Ford Focus ST Cosworth CS 330.
The project is a collaboration between M&J Entreprises, Cosworth and Ford Racing, with the aim of promoting the first fruit of the passion between the two aforementioned divisions. The 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder unit was gifted with a multitude of tech upgrades, in order to be persuaded to deliver 330 hp (hence the designation of the vehicle).
The fact that the car uses Cosworth's Stage One power upgrade and, for example, a tire pressure monitoring system, shows that the main aim of the development was to produce a perfectly streetable machine.
Speaking of the tires, we have to tell you that the connection to the road is established via Cosworth RS2000 19x8.5-inch wheels that come from British aftermarket developer Kahn, being wrapped in Pirelli PZero rubber (235/35 R19 all-round).
The list of tech enhancements also includes Ford Racing performance parts, such as a coilover suspension and a more generous braking system that promises to provide serious stopping power.
