The Audi A1 quattro, a pocket nuclear bomb that is only being produced in 333 units, has now received a tuning package that comes from German specialist ABT.
The A1 quattro leaves the factory with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 256 hp and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft of torque). ABT hasn’t mentioned the mods it has brought to the car, but it now allows the driver’s right foot to play with 307 hp and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft), with the latter being delivered between 2,500 and 5,000 rpm.
Thanks to the extra muscle, the A1 quattro now deals with the 0 to 62 mph sprint 0.3 seconds faster, completing the task in 5.4 seconds. In addition to that, ABT tells us that the fuel efficiency of the hot hatch has remained unchanged.
