On certain occasions, drivers and bikers get bored of sticking to their own kind when battling and this is when they turn to crossbreed street racing. The latest example of such an illegal adventure comes from the video below, which brings us a three-way race.
We're dealing with a heavily tuned Nissan 240SX, which dukes it out with a stock 2016 Kawasaki ZX-10R, as well as with a modified 2015 ZX-10R. We'll get to the car soon, but we want to discuss the two-wheeled speed demons first.
While the 2016 ZX-10R allows the rider to play with a monstrous 197 hp (this is the kind of power level you can find in a hot hatch, for crying out loud), a standard 2015 model delivers 160 hp. And while we don't know the exact mods of the bike seen here, we can tell you the Kawasaki packs full bolt-ons, as well as the mandatory ECU remap.
As for the 240SX, this delivers north of 1,000 horses at the rear wheels, hence the crank hp approximation in the title above. Under the hood, we find a monster incarnation of the infamous Toyota 2JZ engine.
In fact, here are the main mods applied to this Nissan:
The three machines duke it out on the highway - as anybody who's tried to launch a performance bike knows, such a stunt can be difficult to master and will put plenty of stress on the various bits of the bike, with this also being true about cars with over 1,000 hp. As a result, the trio decided to go for a rolling start, as you'll be able to see behind the "play" button below.
