Last week we gave you the first ever spy photos of the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake, with another, somewhat more clear batch of images, a few days later.
Well, even though those photos were a better representation of the upcoming model's proportions, now it's time to show you the car from a much closer view.
As you can see, our guess about the CLS Shooting Brake's increased height over the regular CLA was correct. Following in the footsteps of its CLS Shooting Brake bigger brother, the CLA will offer much better headroom for the rear passengers, as the roof height has been increased in order to offer better stylistic proportions with the addition of the rear hatch.
The car's engine range will be completely identical to that of the normal CLA, so we can expect a CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake version a few months after the model is unveiled, most likely at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
Unfortunately, all the latest reports are saying that this Shooting Brake version of the CLA might not make it to the United States, as the recent American adversity against station wagons is well known. Things may change along the way, though.
