Zero Motorcycles Launches Fleet Sales Program

Electric motorcycle manufacturer Zero Motorcycles is getting ready for worldwide market growth. After expanding throughout Europe and then Asia within less than a year, Zero announced the launch of its fleet sales program. The program, scheduled to kick-off on November 2, 2009, aims to provide sales support for multi-unit purchases to corporate, non-profit, government and small business buyers.

Moreover, not only the company is offering professional support to its customers, but it is also going to set the price based on volume and support requirements.

"The fleet sales program will not only expand the availability of Zero Motorcycles' products beyond the consumer market, but it will also allow for groups to use Zero electric motorcycles for functions ranging from basic recreation to government security," said John Lloyd, VP of Worldwide Sales of Zero Motorcycles. "People in all industries will be able to experience the versatility of electric motorcycles and the reduction of fleet maintenance costs while supporting green initiatives."

According to Zero Motorcycles, its products are not only different from standard motorcycles, but they also require less upkeep, reduced maintenance costs and allow for more consistent operation. That, of course, aside from being environmentally friendly.

So what are the aforementioned buyers going to gain if purchasing a fleet of electric motorcycles? Law enforcement agencies for example, will benefit from the low noise level to better facilitate communications while riding, and zero emissions allows safe patrolling in public gatherings.
