We’ve already got accustomed with the expensive bespoke rides of oil-rich sheiks, so it should come as no surprise that the world’s first 'Arizona Sun’ Ghost has been sent by Rolls Royce Motor Cars directly to Abu Dhabi. Commissioned in the Arizona Sun exterior color, the car has already generated a great deal of interest among rich Abu Dhabi clientele, although the company hasn’t revealed any pricing details yet.

Designed in-house and developed on site by craftsmen at the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars plant in Goodwood, England, the car was sold directly upon arrival to the showroom in Umm Al Nar.

The design of the Arizona Sun Ghost evokes the hues of the Arizona desert coupled with the black contrast of the tan leather interior.

The rest of the car remains the same, as no changes were made to the body or to the powertrain. Powering this bespoke model is the same 6.6 litre twin-turbo V12 engine we find in the regular Ghost.

The unit roduces 563 bhp and 780 Nm (575 lb.ft) of torque available at just 1,500 rpm, which is enough to propel Ghost from 0-60 mph in just 4.7 seconds and on to an electronically governed top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

“The Ghost is a modern execution of timeless Rolls-Royce elegance, widening its appeal beyond the purely traditional whilst retaining the core values that make the Rolls-Royce brand unique. As the second best selling dealership worldwide, Abu Dhabi Motors continually strives to deliver excellence – from unique vehicles, to the quality of services to uncompromising clientele. The arrival of the world’s first Arizona Sun Ghost is one version of this dedication,”
stated Arno Husselmann, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Motors.
