"World's First" Modified Rolls-Royce Spectre Runs Silently on Matching 26 Inchers

The good folks over at the RDB LA aftermarket outlet in Los Angeles, California, have done it again - they proudly present the first customized example of the electric Rolls-Royce Spectre on social media.
Of course, in the world of aftermarket builds, it takes time to pinpoint the exact timeline of a modified vehicle. Who knows if someone on the other side of the planet is claiming the same thing on a different social media platform? Anyway, Rolls-Royce indeed has a special relationship with America and its affluent connoisseurs.

Remember how we recently talked about billionaire collector Michael Fux's desire to claim another record? He simply nailed two Spectre purchases to become the owner of the first full-electric Spectre delivered to the US – and it wasn't even the one intended for the Fux Collection, as his bespoke version is still a long way from production.

Anyway, perhaps it's easier to claim the first Rolls you get your hands on and then send it to the aftermarket experts on the West Coast. That's probably what this client did, and now RDB LA can brag about working on the Rolls-Royce Spectre. Well, it's not like they are running out of exotics anytime soon. Before the EV, they showcased stuff like the quartet of wild supercars (two McLarens, a Lambo, and a Ferrari, of course) that shared the tarmac with a G 63 4x4 Squared, a trio of widebody Range Rovers, another trio of widebody Urus S and Performantes, or your 'run-of-the-mill' GMC Hummer EV!

As for the Rolls-Royce Spectre, back in October, it just started the press tours in Europe and the UK, and now someone already has another example delivered in the US and already modified with aftermarket stuff. Sure, the changes feel subtle – this EV is all black, save for the abundance of chrome elements. Even the aftermarket 26-inch Giovanna Koko Kuture Sicily was dressed the same – mostly in black and with subtle chrome hints.

Interestingly, this is not the end of the road for the Rolls-Royce Spectre – the good folks at RDB LA will swap the 26s for 24s because the client now also wants to lower the full-size two-door grand tourer. That means we will probably see it again in their garage – perhaps they'll also do a nice chrome delete to make the Spectre the first one modified on the West Coast and the first one murdered out?

Rolls-Royce is starting a new era with the Spectre but is not abandoning the old ways – folks even mistook the EV for a V12-equipped grand tourer. Obviously, that also sparked a debate about what's best – a completely silent Rolls like the Spectre or one equipped with the company's iconic 6.75-liter V12 that purrs like a kitten. Sure enough, the price is the same as if it were ICE-powered, but the added heft of the batteries makes it one of the heaviest Rolls' to date. So, what's your choice?
