You know how actors turn famous and forget about their own personality, start acting like real celebrities. Well, every now and then there’s one person that stands out, one who acts different to the group and makes us reclaim our hope that showbizz can also be human. Co-creator of the Comedy Central series Workaholics Blake Anderson seems to be one of those guys, since he had his Jeep Wrangler covered with the US flag.
Maybe his desire to stand out and to mock what everybody does is something that relates to his high school years. Born in Sacrament County, California, Anderson attended Clayton Valley High School. Some say he was often ridiculed for his curly hair, so he eventually shaved it off in 1998 because of peer pressure. Now, he’s obviously back to his old school look and there’s nobody mocking him this time.

Considered by The A.V. Club’s Kevin McFarland quite successful, calling it “a more adult version of Ed, Edd n Eddy”, Comedy Central’s Workaholics sitcom has propelled Blake among the famous people. The comedian is seeing growing success as one of the stars of the show, which is also why he was recently invited at the Conan talk show. That’s also where he talked about how he got his car.

It turns out the American flag wrap is actually real and it was what he wanted. In fact, photogs captured the 30-year old stand-up comedian back in 2013, when he first drove the Jeep Wrangler to the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. It was quite unaccustomed for the rich fellows who frequently attend the exclusive place to see the patriotic Jeep sitting right next to their Bentleys and whatnot.

We say "good for him" for proving we don’t all have to be the same, no matter how rich and famous we turn over night.

PS: we believe the eagle sitting on the hood of the jeep is not real, rather photoshopped.
