Wildest Porsche Macan Turbo Exhaust Sound Yet Comes from Taiwan

Porsche itself does offer a Sports Exhaust option, but for those who want ever more aural oomph, the first aftermarket system is already out there. This comes from Fi Exhaust and appears to be just as sophisticated as the stock one. We have to explain we are talking about the Macan Turbo here.

To be more precise, the custom system also features valves that control the sound. As is the case with the OEM application, the valves are controlled by an electronic brain or can be open at the touch of a button, for those times when the person behind the wheel is in giggle mode.

The complete system for the Macan Turbo’s 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 includes an ultra high flow Catless pipe (not sure about the street legal part on this one), a mid x-pipe, as well as the Valvetronic muffler that does the two-mode work. The company explains that installing the complete system will bring an extra 45 hp, thus taking the Macan Turbo to 445 hp.

What about the soundtrack?

The Taiwanese aftermarket specialist has released the adjacent clip that allows us to get a taste of what their exhaust can do for a Macan. There are now also other Macan Turbo exhaust kits on the market, but this appears to be the loudest one so far.

Still, the soundtrack may be a bit too rugged for certain tastes - when it comes to a V6, especially a turbocharged one, it’s always difficult to keep a balance between noise and music.
