All you need is love... To get the proper custom touch on your car. It’s the case of this 1995 Nissan R33 GT-R whose, owner decided he’ll take his own shot at making it shine again, a couple of years ago, shortly after it was purchased. The car enthusiast, who is a member of the U.S. Military, decided to ask for his wife's help to turn the car’s silver color into something special.
The man decided the whole story was worth being mention on a Nissan owners forum. According to its posts, the sportscar has covered 76,000 km (45,000 miles) and came with some build-in custom features, such as a Greddy boost controller, HKS coilovers, 17’’ work wheels and an ARC intake when he bought it.

At first, the fellow claims he had done some weight reduction on it, ending up with 50kg (110 lbs) less than the car was initially weighing. Then, he decided to loose the ugly color as he hated the silver accent.

“I settle on this car with repainting it in a ‘Time Attach’ paint job from the start. While I chose a color scheme, I let my girlfriend draw over a scratch on the front bumper,” he explains.

It took months, but it was definitely worth it

One thing lead to the other, and what was supposed to be more of a game turned out to be quite the custom auto project. Not only the entire car was painted, but instead of the grey color, the vehicle is now looking like a true work of art. Who would've thought you can do so much with just a sharpie pen? And even more importantly, isn't this fellow the luckiest guy in town or what?

P.S. We put up a gallery of the entire process, in case you want to get a better look.
