Swiss artist Fabian Oefner has recently visited Ferrari’s headquarters in Maranello to express his own view of the latest Grand Tourer, the 2015 California T. Built as an art form, the resulting video is quite impressive and is supposed to be an exploration of the essence of the second generation California sportscar.
When you get magnetic ferrofluids, exploding balloons and Fabian Oefner next to a beautiful Ferrari, only beautiful things can happen. And beautiful is the exact word to be used for what the renown artist did with the California T you see below. Now, before you lay back and click the play button, let us explain a couple of things.
The resulting video encapsulates the pillars of purposeful design and perpetual innovation that are constants in the creation of all of Ferraris. We don't know a lot about art, but this is how Oefner described the project on his website.
The project itself, called State of the Art, is another marketing thing the Italians over at Maranelo are doing to promote their newest model, but we have to admit we like their originality. They’ve even built a website just for that, in which “Fabian’s journey and his search for inspiration” is followed. Upcoming videos will feature interviews with industry leaders discussing Ferrari and the Art of Innovation.
