While Porsche has reportedly paused sales of the 911 GT3 due to the five documented fire cases reported on the new 991 generations, it seems that owners in the US care little about this matter. For instance, we’ve just come across two examples that received exhaust tuning.
The two were taken care of by Sharkwerks, which installed its bespoke works for this model. We’re talking about a duo of 2014 models, which were spotted in North California.
Leaving the fire worries aside, we have to explain that, unlike the “standard” 911, the GT3 doesn’t come with a sports exhaust option. Its OEM system is offered in what is considered to be an already-sporty incarnation.
As for what the owners pursued, you can hit the “play” button below for the new voice of the GT3’s naturally-aspirated flat six.
