It was only a matter of time before the obsession with the Lamborghini Aventador’s exhaust would cause the fire to spread too far around the car and now we’ve got a video that shows an example of that.
The Aventador’s exhaust spits flames in stock form, but in a from that couldn’t possibly ignite stuff around the car, perhaps with the exception of a gasoline fountain. Nonetheless, aftermarket exhaust take this much further and such a development recently... backfired.
It all took place at the Lamborghini parade in Dubai, an event held last year to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the brand. At a certain point, multiple owners were revving their Lambos in a car park, with one Aventador causing the bushes in the proximity to catch fire.
The clip below shows the cars screaming in the parking lot, as well as the flames, even though ti doesn’t offer the exact moment when things overheated.
