We always get excited when we're the first to discover a brand new car, even if wer think it looks comical and ugly. Say hello to the FB-ONE, a one-off created by an Italian tuner, built with bits from three car brands.
At its core, the FB-ONE is a Chrysler Crossfire one of the forgotten sportscars from the Daimler-Chrysler era. As if that car wasn't strange enough, the bodywork has been widened, rebuilt in what they tell us is carbon fiber and covered in gold and brown paint. The wheels are as wide as on a supercar and have a deep-dish design similar to what Senner puts on its tuning projects, though the similarity might be coincidental.
However, the really strange part is the pair of Audi A8 LED headlights. Their unmistakable shape is so radical, it dominates our impression of the car, like a bad joke told at a dinner party.
The third and final element that makes this a unique car is a 3.2-liter engine. This was always available with the Crossfire SRT-6 and is actually a Mercedes AMG engine built for this car and the SLK 32 AMG Roadster, which is what the Crossfire is based on. In stock form, it produced 330 hp, but has been tuned to 400 hp.
