Lexus brought its two most amazing cars to show off at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed - the all-new IS sport sedan and the almighty LFA supercar.
While the 300-unit limited LFA is cool in every way possible and we’ve seen lots of them here on Toyota Titans, our attention goes to the 2014 Lexus IS, especially the 300h model, which hybridized the IS for the first time this year.
When people think about a hybrid car, they automatically picture a Prius in their heads, a car that doesn’t even come close to sportiveness. However, this is not the case with the Lexus IS 300h.
The 2014 Lexus IS 300h is powered by a 2.5-liter V6 engine aided by an electric motor, pushing a total of 223 hp through the E-CVT automatic gearbox to the rear axle. This means that you can enjoy a performance machine together with three more persons, in total comfort, while averaging a fuel consumption of 4,3 l/100 km and combined CO2 emissions of 99 g/km.
