Since it was first shown some three years ago, the Kepler Motion hybrid supercar has largely been ignored, and we had not heard of it in a while. Well, now, it wants to demonstrated that it is still among us, with a few videos, showing the car in action, as well as some additional new pictures.
The car itself is powered by a Ford-sourced 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost turbocharged engine, which has been tuned to produce 550 hp. However, with the addition of an electric motor, which provides an additional 250 horses, the combined total output is a clean, simple and easy to remember 800 hp. It also gets totally revised exhausts, which make a surprisingly pleasant noise, for a turbocharged V6 engine, that is.
The car also looks quite good, with aggressive and racy styling, with some hints of inspiration having been taken from the classic supercar of the late 1980s - the Ferrari F40. However, it remains an original and interesting idea, which for something developed by a small and new company, boasts some amazing performance figures: 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.5 seconds, as well as a 320 km/h (200 mph) top speed, thanks to its low weight, powerful engine and very low drag coefficient of just .30 .
