During the development of the new M3 and M4 cars, BMW knew that they had to bring in pro drivers to give feedback about the feel of the new automobiles. Since BMW's DTM effort has 4 teams and 8 drivers at its disposal, it was easy to fulfill that request.
Timo Glock and Bruno Spengler had the pleasure to be invited at the Nurburgring to drive two prototypes of the M3 and M4. It seems like the M engineers knew that if they got the two to say "WOW" their work was complete.
As you can see in the video below, both drivers were impressed with the cars on the track and both had more than just 'wow' to say. However, since they are professionals and want only the very best, after their test drive, some suggestions were made, in order to create mind boggling cars.
The problem with the video below is that the music is ruining the sound of the glorious 430 HP inline 6-cylinder engine but have no fear, in no time at all, we'll be seeing the new cars launched at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.
