Word has it British automaker Bentley is pondering a four-door coupe that could rival BMW’s M6 Gran Coupe and Mercedes’ CLS63 AMG. The vehicle is reportedly scheduled to arrive in 2018 and will be similar in size to the Continental GT.
The above information comes via UK’s Car Magazine, who claims Bentley decided to expand its range even further after releasing their yet unnamed luxury SUV. According to our source, the four-door coupe will be launched “either as a standalone model or part of the Continental range.”
The vehicle is expected to be underpinned by a Porsche platform (most probably the Panamera), sport V6 and diesel engines besides the familiar Bentley lineup of powerplants, and cost somewhere between €125.000 and €150.000.
Meanwhile, the British have decided to cancel the Bentley Mulsanne Convertible, even though a concept version was unveiled in front of a private audience at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
