When you’re in Sun Valley, Idaho and you drive a 225 hp first-generation Audi TT, getting passed isn’t exactly a reason to rejoyce. The driver of the TT in the adjacent video may beg to differ. Well, of course he would, since his Idaho driving experience saw him being overtaken by a sextuplet of Bugatti Veyrons.
The hypercars were there for the Suna Valley Road Rally and it’s safe to say that, at time the footage was captured, the drivers were using a mid approach, not to fast, but not lagging behind schedule either. If you want to talk figures, we’ll mention the Bugattis were travelling at about 150 mph (240 km/h), the equivalent of jogging pace for a human.

We wouldn’t mind being overtaken by a six-pack of Veyrons either and, as if such a convoy wasn’t special enough, it’s time to get to the details. The list includes one original Veyron 16.4, a Super Sport Pur Blanc, as well as four examples of the Grand Sport Vitesse.

Remember what we said about the rather mild approach? To get an idea of what we meant, we’ll mention that the Super Sport can do a record 267 mph (430 km/h).

Oh and by the way, since the camera car is a TT, one could say that this isn’t totally unrelated to the French emblem-gifted cars that put on the summer driving show. Mind that little wing on the back of the Audi though, you wouldn’t want to drive without it. The first batch of models did and they kept spinning at speed.
