No one could possibly blame another human being for feeling afraid and causing drama when they’re about to be thrown off a flying plane, but that probably doesn’t apply in the case of a future paratrooper.
A video obtained by the Daily Mail is getting a lot of attention and plenty of laughs for showing a paratrooper cadet going into full freak-out mode as he’s about to make his very first jump ever. You will also find it at the bottom of the page.
Details about the location where this was shot, the identity or age of the cadet are unknown, but it is known it was shot somewhere above Russia. The cadet is with his instructor and his fellow cadets and, by the looks of it, he’s the first to make the jump. To say that the dude is terrified is an understatement.
So, despite his theoretical training, he does his best to stall or possibly avoid the leap. He drags his feet and grabs hold of every fixture he can with his hand, screams and yells, crouches and tries to avoid being grabbed or pushed. In the end, all his efforts are in vain: his instructor, who keeps a straight, calm face throughout the whole thing (which is understandable, since he’s probably been around the block a few times), manages to push him off the plane.
The other cadets follow him quietly. You can tell from the expression on their face that they’re slightly scared themselves, but they avoid causing a scene. Also, props to the female cadet for rocking a face full of makeup and a gorgeous cat-eye. You can never be TOO glam!
As for the school the cadets were from, the Mail says that “eagle-eyed commenters indicate it is the famous" General V.F. Margelov Ryazan Guards Higher Airborne Command School. They don’t have confirmation on that, though.
