We see plenty of clips showing supercars playing in the triple-digit speed zone on weekly, if not daily basis, but while most of them may gift irresponsible drivers with “hero” badges, today we are here to bring you a cold, hard, reality check. We are talking about a video that shows a Lamborghini Huracan crashing while doing 200 MPH (320 KM/H).
The piece of footage was captured by the passenger, probably using his smartphone and shows the driver pushing the V10 Raging Bull up to around 205 MPH (330 KM/H). The supercar was being driven on a Hungarian highway.

At a certain point, the Lambo encounters a broken asphalt section, which caused the driver to lose control as the car was jumping around. The Huracan went into the crash barrier on the left side of the road and was sent into that on the right side.

While this pinball trajectory did kill some of the car’s speed, the Huracan somehow managed to go past the second barrier, sliding into a ditch on the side of the highway.

The driver managed to get out of the car and rescue his passenger, just before the Lamborghini caught fire. While the man behind the wheel was hospitalized via an ambulance, the passenger was rushed to a hospital by air, having been seriously injured in the crash.

While the accident took place back on September 5th last year, the Hungarian Police released the video earlier today, aiming to show speeding drivers what such action can lead to.

While we don’t have a detailed report of the crash, it is obvious that the carbon-aluminum structure of the Huracan did a remarkable job at protecting the occupants.
