You might think that a blue wagon from Sweden isn't worth squat in North America, but that's not true. Up in the snow belt, a car like the V60 Polestar should be a superstar, the perfect combination of power, respect for the road and style.

As blue as the summer sky, the polar-themed V60 screams aggression from underneath its paint, using a carefully crafted body kit. Polestar cars come with amazing, precisely cut 20-inch alloy wheels, sitting atop six-cylinder Brembo brakes that use 14.6-inch rotors to stop.
True performance comes from an undated 3-liter turbocharged engine, producing 345-hp (350 PS) and 369 pound-feet of torque from 2,800 rpm. The power increase comes tanks to a bigger twin-scroll Borg Warner turbo, new intercooler and Polestar 2.5 inch stainless full-flow exhaust
system with twin 3.5 inch tail pipes. Delivery is done to all four corners of the car through rear-biased all-wheel-drive system and a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
The quickest factory Volvo estate ever made was presented yesterday for the first time in the US, during an event at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. During the event, it was announced that only 120 Polestar models would be coming to the US this summer, so if you're a fan, better talk to your Volvo dealer soon.
Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
