Volkswagen’s customization division has announced the introduction of multiple exquisite options for the 2011 Touareg SUV.

The Volkswagen Exclusive division has included the Touareg in its offer, so the vehicle gets new two-tone leather finishes and other special features. The car’s interior can use a two-tone Nappa leather scheme, that uses Titan Black or Dark Burgundy in combination with Titan Black. But the new feature doesn’t only bring an aesthetic advantage, as it uses the new “cool” technology, which allows it to reduce sunlight heating. So the “Cool Leather” offers a serious advantage in the summer season.

The SUV’s front seats are heated and come with an electric 12 way adjustment system, electro-pneumatically adjustable lateral seat supports and two-way adjustable headrests. The package also features new door leather inserts, bespoke thread plates and a black roof finish.

The two-tone “Cool leather” package can be ordered for the Touareg V8 TDI and the Touareg Hybrid, and can be yours starting from 1,725 euro.

The Exclusive division offers multiple options for the new Touareg’s interior, such as a set of "Olive Ash Silky Lustre" wood inserts. But the bespoke option range also offers exterior features, like the machine polished Girona 19 inch alloy rims, which are wrapped in 265/50 tires. The special wheels can be purchased for 1,205 euro.

The new Touareg’s engine range includes an entry-level 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine that produces 240 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque, a 4.2 liter V8 diesel unit offering 340 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque and a hybrid powertrain that offers a combined output of 380 hp & 428 lb-ft of torque.
