Some carmakers make new models just to launch commercials about them during the super bowl, but Volkswagen make the same car every year and just puts a different marketing spin once in a while.
Little has changed for the Passat since the time of "Little Vader", but the sedan is put under the spotlight for its safety features. The message is simple and clear, that the Passat is safe.

Our protagonist, let's call him Lucky, has a good wife, a nice house and a son that takes after him. However, his luck runs out as he's hit by another car while exiting the driveway in his Passat. Thankfully, "safety starts where luck end" and he's totally unsaved.

The message they're trying to send out is that you can't control everything, and sometimes crashes will occur. That's when you need an IIHS top safety pick, otherwise you can say goodbye to your loving family.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
