German automaker Volkswagen has announced the introduction of the Jetta Limited Edition in the United Kingdom. Based on the popular Jetta SE, the Limited Edition comes with £2,900-worth of extra equipment for a price increase of only £160.
Limited to just 450 examples, the Volkswagen Jetta Limited Edition adds the following features to the Jetta SE’s standard equipment: RNS 315 touchscreen satellite navigation system, front fog lights, front/rear parking sensors, rear tinted glass, 16-inch ‘Perth’ alloys, and a Convenience Pack that includes an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, electrically foldable door mirrors with puddle lights, and automatic headlights and windscreen wipers.
Powered by the frugal 1.6-liter TDI BlueMotion diesel engine connected to a five-speed gearbox, the Limited Edition returns 67.3 mpg on the combined cycle and emits just 105 g/km of CO2. The Jetta Limited Edition can be had in three colors - Deep Black Pearl, Reflex Silver or Platinum Grey Metallic - for an OTR price of £20,750.
