Volkswagen held a special ceremony yesterday, presenting its Service Quality Award to 100 service partners from Europe including Turkey and Russia.

The German company offered the awards following a competition that was aimed at improving the quality of service and customer satisfaction at the service partners.

Michael Horn, Head of Volkswagen After Sales, was pleased with the results and presented the trophies at a special gala held in Wolfsburg. The executive said that the last few years have seen a constant improvement in service quality.

"The results show we have constantly improved service quality in recent years, particularly as regards the repeat repair rate. In addition, all the winning service partners have excelled in their systematic customer orientation and the personal commitment of their employees,” Horn said in his speech.

To be eligible for the Volkswagen Service Quality Award, service partners must conduct a standardized customer satisfaction survey that lasts for a period of one year.

To qualify for the Volkswagen Service Quality Award, service partners must conduct a standardized customer satisfaction survey over a twelve-month period. The two criteria of customer retention and repeat repair rate are crucial for determining the ranking in the Service Quality Award,” stated the press release.

The competition included a total of 6,300 service partners from 27 countries. The top 100 were invited to the aforementioned event. Before the award ceremony, VW held multiple driving events and other highlights. The Volkswagen Service Quality Award was presented for the first time in 2008.
