Yeah, I know, April Fools' is way behind by now, and pranks are getting colder and colder. But Vin Diesel going sideways with the DeLorean from Back to the Future is a must watch.
I also believe the internet ruined April 1st but from the large sea of idiotic pranks and lame jokes the good stuff always comes to surface sooner or later. IGN's proposition was a short trailer for the *joke starts now* new 2015 Back to the Future: Fast to the Future movie.
After all, if the automotive world can freely combine a hatchback with an SUV and come up with a crossover, why can't Hollywood do the same? Just imagine the Fast and Furious franchise entering into some sort of joint venture with Back to the Future. As mind-boggling as it may sound, someone over at IGN thought about it and the way they put it into play is both brilliant and entertaining.
That being said, we don't think Vin Diesel cares that much about cars that can travel 30 years into the past, especially when there's a DeLorean involved in the affair. But we do know that drifting was an essential part of the Fast and Furious American franchise so he wouldn't say no to that.
So, drifting in a DeLorean courtesy of IGN and Vin Diesel, who was "digitally implanted" behind the wheel. Oh, and be careful not to miss the video's final scene. No spoilers here, but I guess I was wrong, and Vin Diesel truly has a soft spot cars that can time-travel. Enjoy!
