Victory announces they will be introducing a new Magnum model called X-1 at the Daytona Bike Week in early March, and we can already bring you what appears to be a couple of photos which leaked. Magnum is the newest addition to Victory’s 2015 model year line-up, a bagger which was revealed last year in late July. Not even a year later, Victory adds a new trim to the model, as it looks like the X-1 is all about accessories only.
The info we got so far indicates that the two main features to help the Magnum X-1 stand from the crowd are a custom paint job and the addition of a bigger, louder audio system with more speakers. If anything, Victory bikes have always looked good as far as the color schemes go, and we’re talking about the graphics of both base and Ness models.

Loud colors, loud speakers

Still, the Magnum X-1 seems to take an even bolder step into modern cruiser territory and drifts away from the flame design which is regarded as some sort of badass standard. The edgy, abstract and almost futuristic design should definitely appeal to a younger demographic, and it looks like Victory will continue to position as the modern alternative to Harley, the classic old-school machine.

The saddlebag lids are upgraded with 10” speakers which pump 200W and in terms of loudness, we’re in for quite a blast, if these photos are true. The Magnum X-1 is said to be 4 times louder than the Cross Country and 2 times louder than the base Magnum version. Good for some who like to show off, yet definitely not a major feature for other customers who are more into… well, riding.

Someone at Victory screwed things up as one of the photos is flipped, and we can tell this by the fact that it shows a primary cover on the right side of the bike, as well. We are expecting more photos soon. Anyway, if you’re in Daytona on March 7 and would like to take part in the Magnum X-1 launching event at the Full Moon Saloon, 700 Main Street, you must register as a VIP.
