Victory adds the new Magnum bagger to its 2015 line-up, a bike derived from the successful Cross Country family and showing off solid factory-custom looks.
The new Victory Magnum boasts a 21-in wheel, killer machined rim with contrast cut design, rich chrome accents with just the right amount of shine short of “bling”, mid-sized ape hanger bars, a stylized front fender which harks back to the one-off scene and eye-catching three-tone paint.

A Low-Pro seat will have the rider flying inches off the ground, while the lowered suspension is still offering premium comfort to match the improved air flow of the boomerang windscreen. Victory retained the styling of the Cobra front fairing and added some new touches to the Cross Country cowl, to make the Magnum easily distinguishable among other similarly-styled beasts. The fairing also includes a 100W audio system.

On the tech side, the 2015 Victory Magnum rolls with the 106 cui (1,731cc) Freedom v-twin engine mated to a 6-speed transmission with a belt final drive. Full-floating brake rotors are squeezed by multi-piston calipers and ABS is offered as an option. A 22-liter (5.8 gal) tank delivers true touring capabilities, while the hard saddlebags are also ready for overnight fun.

A most welcome addition to the family is the presence of the high-efficiency LED headlght which also looks very cool and can rival Harley's Daymaker units. Victory also mentions cruise control, but whether it will be offered as standard or optional equipment is still one thing we must find out.

At 345kg (760 lb), the fuel-injected 2015 Victory Magnum is not exactly the heaviest machine in the business, and this can only be a good thing. Prices start at $21,999 (€16,370) and the bike is offered in 4 killer colors: Sunset Red over Supersteel Grey, Plasma Lime, Metasheen Black over Supersteel Grey and Ness Midnight Cherry. The Magnum will make appearance in dealerships outside the US in late 2014, Victory adds.
