Remember Valerie Thompson? She's a really fast lady and speeds in excess of 200 mph are not a strange thing to her. She aimed to enter the "200 MPH Club of Texas" and she made it. So if you're still stuck in that silly "girls can't ride" thing, here's some ride for your money.
Enjoy some fast riding at the Texas Mile at the Chase Field Industrial Complex, during the event which took place March 22-24. While Valerie managed to reach more than 209 mph (321 km/h) on a 1.5 mile track before, it's the mile run which matters.
Helped by her upgraded BMW S1000RR HP4, Valerie Thompson, has not only reached the 200 mph mark, but she flew past at no less than 212 mph (almost 341 km/h) and has thus entered her name on the list of elite Texas riders.
Unfortunately we've only got the 208.8 mph footage, but we believe that's already fast enough for those skeptics out there. Good (fast) girl!
